An outsource legal services model is essentially renting a lawyer or team of lawyers for either a specific project or specific period of time. Clients can hire a General Counsel, Senior Attorney or an entire In-House Legal Team on an interim basis at a fraction of the cost of traditional outside law firms and without the risk, costs, and hassle of recruitment and going through the hiring process. There is no risk of hiring the "wrong" person! You determine how much or how little the attorney(s) works on your project or with your existing team. Our fees vary depending on the matter or the project and whether you desire traditional legal services or the outsourced legal services model. We believe in a flexible and cost-effective approach and are always open to alternative billing arrangements, including fixed fee, weekly/monthly retainer, hourly and success fee. Permanent placements can also be arranged for a fee that is typically lower than traditional recruitment firms. Initial consultations are always free.

The legal services industry is very fragmented. Several large companies dominate while many smaller (and often more specialized) firms occupy specific market niches. Major players have established their dominant position by providing services to the leading companies in various industries. However, these larger market participants generally will not provide their services to smaller and mid-cap companies as they consider such companies unprofitable given their internal infrastructure costs, or too risky to devote customized personal attention to. NSBLaw believes that we can provide superior services to our target market at a cost structure that is a “win-win” for our clients and our attorneys.
Additionally, while many larger law firms attempt to promote services to smaller emerging market companies, their cost structures cannot sustain prolonged provision of discounted services to these clients. Accordingly, many of these clients will seek more cost-effective alternatives. We believe that we can effectively fulfill the needs of smaller businesses and provide superior services at costs far below that charged by most larger industry players. We also believe we can capitalize on the fragmentation in services delivered by offering a one-stop solution for most legal needs.
Although we might be viewed as competing with the myriad of law firms in the marketplace, we believe that initially such firms will be willing to promote our services to their existing client bases since many do not offer the comprehensive solutions that we offer. For example, a firm conducting litigation on behalf of a client may not be comfortable providing sophisticated securities advice or vice versa. Additionally, we believe that many of these smaller firms may consider becoming part of our network of affiliated members and sharing in the overall success of our collective efforts. We are equally comfortable taking a lead or subordinate role as the client desires.
We believe that we add complementary services and it may not be necessary to change your current service providers. However, in the current economic environment, we believe that we are the lower cost, one-stop solution to most of a client’s legal personnel needs and that we also offer the client the opportunity to assess our professional staff for possible temporary or permanent staffing solutions if desired. This dual objective is clearly a distinguishing facet of our business model and differentiates us from other service providers and staffing companies.
